in ghost time

in ghost time

a 2-hour durational, ephemeral drawing performance rendering time as a topographical structure through the obsessive accretion of marks.
The drawing was produced in Boston and live-streamed to Toronto as part of Duration & Dialogue performance symposium at Katzman Contemporary.
The broadcast was live, but was subject to an approximately 30 second delay. At the 1:59:30 mark the drawing was quickly erased, existing only in the time of its making and transmission, existing in its completed form for only a moment in person but was held in the 30 second delay— in ghost time.
